Simon Boas was a British aid worker and writer. He wrote several articles and a book after he was diagnosed with terminal throat cancer in 2023. He said: "What I'm trying to convey is how enjoying life to the full kind of prepares you for this." Boas died in July 2024. His book, A Beginner's Guide to Dying, is scheduled to be published in October 2024.[1][2][3][4]
