Silvio Merkaj (born 4 December 1994) is an Albanian footballer who plays as a striker for Südtirol.
Early life
[edit]Merkaj moved from Albania to Italy at the age of four. He grew up in Umbria, Italy.[1]
Career
[edit]In 2021, Merkaj signed for Italian side Entella. In 2023, he signed for Italian side Südtirol.[citation needed]

[edit]Merkaj mainly operates as a striker. He is right-footed.[2]
Personal life
[edit]Merkaj was born in 1994 in Albania. He has regarded Ukraine international Andriy Shevchenko as his football idol.[3]
