Shakedown is a 2002 American film.

Roger Corman wanted to make an earthquake film so Brian Katkin wrote a take on Reservoir Dogs set during an earthquake. The movie was shot over twenty days on a budget of $500,000.[1]

The Schlock Pit said " you’d certainly be hard pressed to find something from this New Concorde era that’s this much fun."[1]

Plot

[edit]

The plot centers around a catastrophic earthquake in Los Angeles that coincides with a heist at a high-security building. Within the chaos, a cult leader and his followers, aiming to release a deadly super-virus, clash with FBI agents and bank robbers. The protagonists, played by Wolf Larson and Erika Eleniak, must navigate through the devastation to thwart the cult’s plans and secure the virus, while the military considers extreme measures to contain the threat.
