The Serie B is a Mexican association football league. Fifteen teams compete in one group. Since the 2024–25 season, it is two tournament per season. The top 8 teams advances directly to the Liguilla to play for promotion to Liga Premier – Serie A, and the stadium must meet the requirements to promote as well. In the 2020–21 season, Serie B was on hiatus due to COVID-19, but Serie B was reactivated for the 2021–22 season.

- ^ Miguel Ángel Jiménez is registered as the manager, however Fausto Pinto holds the position primarily.
- ^ Caja Oblatos originally registered the Unidad Deportiva Cuauhtémoc as its field for the season, however, the club finally chose Centro Deportivo Zapotlanejo as its venue without knowing the reasons for the change.
- ^ Chilangos F.C. originally registered the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes as its field for the season, however, the club finally chose Estadio Jesús Martínez Palillo as its venue without knowing the reasons for the change.

Offseason Changes[edit]
- On May 11, 2024 Aguacateros CDU was promoted to Serie A.[7]
- On May 26, 2024 Yautepec was promoted to Serie B from Liga TDP.[8][9] On June 28 the team was relocated to Manzanillo.[10]
- On June 28, 2024 C.D. Avispones de Chilpancingo was promoted to Serie A as an expansion team.[11]
- On June 28, 2024 Cordobés joined the league as an expansion team.[12]
- On June 28, 2024 Calor and Saltillo were relocated to Serie B from Serie A.[12] Calor was relocated to León.[13]
- On June 28, 2024 Dongu was put on hiatus.
- On June 28, 2024 the league format was modified, the two tournaments per season were reinstated after one year with a single-season tournament.[14]
