The ssecretary general of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation is chief executive of the Secretariat of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation. The post shall be appointed by the organization's Summit at the recommendation of the Council of Ministers for a non-renewable term of 4 years from among the qualified candidates nominated by Member Countries.[1]
