Scott Henson (July 13, 1983 – June 15, 2024) also known as the "Big Cat" was a Canadian wrestler in Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling. He was also a movie producer, gamer, and podcaster.[1][failed verification]

Biography[edit]

Scott Henson was born on July 13, 1983, in Vancouver. His wrestling career began in the fall of 2002. For many years he was a member of the "3-2-1 Battle!" promotion which resulted in him becoming the Solid Steel Champion twice in 2016. He was known as the "Big Cat" and would attend his fights in furs and fake paws. He was also known for squeezing his hands to look like paws, which the audience would mimic. He starred in two films, Beyond Wrestling in 2009 and the Beyond All Killer Studio Taping in 2012.[2] During his career Henson was also a gamer and podcaster, often participating on The Worst Year of Our Lives podcast alongside his tag team partner Softpaws. He died on June 15, 2024, a month short of his 41st birthday. The immediate cause of his death has not been released.[3][4]
