Scar is an international TV series, coproduction between Spain, Mexico, France and Serbia based in a novel of Juan Gomez Jurado and started by Juanlu Gonzalez, Milena Radulovic. Luis Fernandez, Thais Blume, Stefan Kapovic among others

The first chapter was premiered on 26 August 2024 by La 1[1][2]

Plot

‘Cicatrix’ is a fast-paced action thriller with a multitude of surprising twists. But, above all, the heart of the story appeals directly to the deepest and most universal emotions: love, survival, the fight for family and the vital need to have a sense of belonging.

A passionate love story that began as a web of lies, and an enigmatic scar on the cheek... and that will change the destiny of its two protagonists forever. Based on the novel by Juan Gómez-Jurado.[3]

Production

The production began in 2022. The following year a Serbian telecommunication company and a France group enter to the project .[4] In the following weeks RTVE and La 1 enter in the production as Network and streaming national service.[5]

In the fall of 2023 the main cast was announced and the shooting began in Bilbao and Belgrade.[6]

Release

The first chapter of the series was broadcast in August 2024. Currently the entire first season is available on RTVE.[7]
