Abu Shanak (Persian: ابوشانك)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Bahmanshir-e Jonubi Rural District of the Central District of Abadan County, Khuzestan province, Iran.[4]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,031 in 161 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 652 people in 174 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,173 people in 352 households.[2]
