Salem Turki al-Antri

Salem Turki al-Antri (Arabic: سالم تركي العنتري) is a Syrian militant and leader of the U.S.-backed Syrian Free Army (SFA).[1] He was appointed leader of the SFA on 29 February 2024. This was to replace Muhammad Farid al-Qasim. He has remained in territory controlled by the SFA since his appointment as leader and played a key role in coordinating and executing the Palmyra offensive (2024) and the Fall of Damascus, which significantly expanded the area under SFA control.[citation needed]
