Rudawka [ruˈdafka], is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Krasnopol, within Sejny County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[3] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north of Krasnopol, 14 km (9 mi) north-west of Sejny, and 119 km (74 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok. The village It lies on the river Marycha.
From 1975-1998 the village was administratively governed by the Suwałki Voivodeship.
History
[edit]In 1827 it was recorded that the population of the village numbered at 68 and 7 homes and in 1888 it was numbered at 89 people and 10 homes[4]
