Ruda [ˈruda] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ruda-Huta, within Chełm County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland, close to the border with Ukraine.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Ruda-Huta, 14 km (9 mi) north-east of Chełm, and 71 km (44 mi) east of the regional capital Lublin.
