Rayshawn Pleasant is an American college football cornerback for the Tulane Green Wave.

Early life

Pleasant attended West Monroe High School located in West Monroe, Louisiana. Coming out of high school, Pleasant was rated as a three-star recruit, where he committed to play college football for the Tulane Green Wave.[1][2]

College career

In Pleasant's first collegiate season in 2023, he appeared in nine games where he notched five tackles.[3][4] In week one of the 2024 season, Pleasant intercepted a pass right before halftime that he returned 100 yards for a touchdown, as he helped the Green Wave beat the Southeastern Louisiana Lions 52-0.[5] For his performance versus Southeastern Louisiana, Pleasant was named the American Athletic defensive player of the week.[6] In week four, Pleasant notched a 94-yard kickoff return touchdown, as he helped the Green Wave to a win over Louisiana.[7] In week six, Pleasant returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown in a 71-20 win over the UAB Blazers, where for his performance he was named the American Athletic special teams player of the week.[8]
