The name of my village is Ramwapur, a distinguished settlement located in the Gaur block of Basti district, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is an old village situated on the western side of Basti district, approximately one kilometer away from the Gaur police station. Despite its historical significance, the village has a modest population of around 700 residents.
The demographic makeup of Ramwapur is diverse, with the majority being Hindus and a smaller number of Muslims. The villagers come from various social backgrounds; most are engaged in farming, while others work as businessmen, service professionals, barbers, or carpenters. There is a notable presence of educated individuals who contribute to the village's progress.
Ramwapur boasts several important amenities, including a primary school that serves both boys and girls, and a Panchayat Bhawan. The village also has a small market (Ramwapur Churaha) and Petrol Pump, catering to the daily needs of the residents. Notably, Ramwapur is home to a Mandir, dedicated to Late Shri Ram Charan Shukla, located on the southern side of the village.
Late Shri Surya Narayan Shukla ji was a famous person of this village, he had the land ownership of 12 villages, he left hundreds above of bighas of land just like that. Late Shri Surya Narayan's brother, late Shri Krishna Narayan's son Shri Ram Prakash Shukla ji has been the Pradhan (head) of this village for the last 15 years continuously due to his work and responsibility, under his supervision this village is developing in all directions.
