Ralf Heckner (born 1967[1]) is a Swiss diplomat who currently serves as Ambassador of Switzerland to the United States in Washington, D.C. since 2024, succeeding incumbent Jacques Pitteloud.[2][3] He previously served as Ambassdor to India (2020–2024) and Kenya (2015–2020). Previously, Heckner held a variety of positions within the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
