Ptilotrigona lurida, known as the borá-cavalo, abelha-piranha ("piranha bee"), or corta-cabelos ("hair-cutting bee")[2] in Brazil, is a species of eusocial stingless bee in the family Apidae and tribe Meliponini.[3]
