Priya Hassan is an Indian actress, director, producer, and singer who predominantly works in the Kannada film industry.[1]
Career
[edit]Priya Hassan began her career in the Kannada film industry with her debut film, Jambada Hudugi(2007). Priya was involved in multiple roles; she was the director, lead actress, producer, and singer for the project. Jambada Hudugi was a commercial success and ran for 100 days in theaters. For her work on the film, she won the Kannada Film Industry Directors' Association Award for Best Debut Director[2]
In 2010, Priya returned with another project, Bindaas Hudugi (2010), where she took on the roles of director, producer, writer, and lead actress'.
Priya Hassan also appeared in the Kannada action film Smuggler (2017), directed by K. Veeru.[3]
