Pradeep Aggarwal (born 25 July 1969) is an Indian entrepreneur. He is the chairman and Founder of Signature Global. He ventured in the real estate business under the brand name 'Signature Global' which is working on various realty projects across India.[1]

Early life and education

Pradeep Aggarwal was born to Padam Chand Aggarwal in Kichha, Uttarakhand. At an early age, he left his hometown and shifted to Delhi in pursuit of opening new business ventures.[2] He started his career by venturing into the financial capital market and commodity market and worked for about two decades in the business world. He diversified the group business from stock broking and arbitrage to commodity broking, all fund based activities and advisory services.[3]

Career

After a stint of over two decades in the financial market, Pradeep Aggarwal, along with his younger brothers Lalit Aggarwal, Devender Aggarwal, and Ravi Aggarwal, ventured into the real estate business. In 2014, they founded Signature Global, focusing on affordable housing.[4] The company launched its first project, Solera, on 6.13 acres of land in Gurugram under the Haryana Affordable Housing Policy.[5] Since then, Signature Global has launched several residential and commercial projects across Karnal and the Delhi NCR region.[6] In September 2023, the company was listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India. By March 2024, Signature Global had sold approx. 29000 residential and commercial units, all within the Delhi NCR region. [7]

Aggarwal has been a significant contributor to Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's flagship mission of 'Housing for All. He is also the chairman of the National Council on Real Estate, Housing and Urban Development of ASSOCHAM, and a Governing Council Member of NAREDCO: National Real Estate Development Council.[8]

Awards and recognition

Aggarwal has received numerous awards and recognitions. He was named Sustainable Business Leader of the Year at the Realty+ Conclave & Excellence Awards North in both 2022 and 2023.[9] Additionally, he was honored as the Real Estate Person of the Year at the Construction Week India Awards 2022[10], and received accolades at the Dainik Jagran Inext Iconic Awards 2023, the GROHE HURUN India Real Estate Green Building Leadership Award 2023, and the ACE Alpha Awards 2023 as the Affordable Housing Developer of the Year. Furthermore, he was listed among India's top 200 self-made Entrepreneurs of The Millennia 2023 by HURUN India. [11]

Personal life

Aggarwal is married to Madhu Aggarwal. They have three children: two daughters, Payal Aggarwal and Nidhi Aggarwal, and one son, Shivansh Aggarwal.
