Notice from the Portals WikiProject

[edit]

WikiProject Portals is back!

The project was rebooted and completely overhauled on April 17th, 2018. Its goals are to revitalize the entire portal system, make building and maintaining portals easier, support the ongoing improvement of portals and the editors dedicated to this, and design the portals of the future.

As of May 2nd, 2018, membership is at 60 editors, and growing. You are welcome to join us.

There are design initiatives for revitalizing the portals system as a whole, and for improving each component of portals. So far, 2 new dynamic components have been developed: Template:Transclude lead excerpt and Template:Transclude random excerpt.

Tools are provided for building and maintaining portals, including automated portals that update themselves in various ways.

And, if you are bored and would like something to occupy your mind, we have a wonderful task list.

From your friendly neighborhood Portals WikiProject. Hope to see you there. Sincerely,    — The Transhumanist   07:40, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccurate report about officials "executed" after summit

[edit]

I am trying to edit the main page to remove the inaccurate report attributed to South Korean media, but have yet to figure out how to do it. Kim Hyok-chol has recently been reported to be alive by CNN (https://www.scmp.com/news/asia/east-asia/article/3013062/executed-north-korean-nuclear-envoy-kim-hyok-chol-reported), and Kim Yong-chol, reported to have been sent to a forced labour camp, has resurfaced in public (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jun/03/senior-north-korean-official-kim-yong-chol-reappears-after-forced-labour-report). South Korean media, especially Yonhap (associated with South Korean intelligence) and also Choson Ilbo, frequently publish inaccurate reports about North Korea, often attributed to anonymous sources (as in this case) or defectors (whose reliability in general is suspect - Iraqi defectors helped sell lies about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, for example). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Incogreader (talkcontribs) 19:37, 15 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notelist Error

[edit]

This portal has popped up on the WP:NOREFLIST page. I know it's not the correct thing to do to add a {{notelist}} to a portal. Can someone tell me how to fix this? Thanks. BoonDock (talk) 03:09, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
