The Indian Peafowl, Pavo cristatus, is a species of bird in the peafowl genus Pavo of the pheasant family, Phasianidae.

It is a forest bird which nests on the ground laying 4-8 eggs. It eats mainly seeds, but also some insects and fruit. The Indian Peacock has beautiful iridescent blue-green plumage. His tail feathers have a series of eyes that are best seen when it is fanned. The male is called a peacock, the female a peahen.

Madurai Shanmukhavadivu Subbulakshmi (popularly known as M.S. or M.S.S.) (September 16, 1916 - December 11, 2004) was a renowned carnatic vocalist. She was born to a musical family, in the temple town of Madurai, situated in the state of Tamil Nadu in South India. M.S. started learning carnatic music from a very early age and cut her first disc at the age of 10. She then began her Carnatic classical music training under Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer and then Hindustani classical training under Pandit Narayan Rao Vyas.

Jawaharlal Nehru (जवाहरलाल नेहरू, Javāharlāl Nehrū) (November 14, 1889May 27, 1964), also called Pandit ('Scholar') Nehru, was the first Prime Minister of India at independence on August 15, 1947, holding the office until his death.

Qutub Minar

Qutub Minar is the highest stone tower and one of the finest examples of Islamic architecture in India. It is currently one of Delhi's most visited tourist attractions. The Qutub Minar is 72.5 metres high and vistors must climb 379 steps to get to the top. The diameter of the base is 14.3 metres wide while the top floor measures 2.7 metres in diameter.
