Portal:Solar System/Selected picture/Nominate

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is the process by which an image is chosen to appear on the Solar System portal. Each week, the nominee with the most votes is selected from below to be added to the cue. If there is a tie, it is chosen by oldest first. It is chosen by approval voting so there is no way to vote against an image. To nominate an image to appear on the Solar System portal, it must meet the following criteria:

  1. It must be an astronomy featured image.
  2. It must be of something located in the Solar System.
  3. It must be at least 15 weeks since it last appeared on the main page of the portal.
  4. It must not be a current nominee.
