Barnegat Lighthouse, colloquially known as "Old Barney", is located in Barnegat Lighthouse State Park on the northern tip of Long Beach Island, in the borough of Barnegat Light. It sits along the Barnegat Inlet.

The Indian King Tavern was a colonial American tavern in Haddonfield, and was the site of the 1777 New Jersey General Assembly meeting that officially ratified the Declaration of Independence and adopted the state's Great Seal.

The Hackensack River is a river, approximately 45 miles (72 km) long, emptying into Newark Bay, a back chamber of the New York Harbor. The watershed of the river includes part of the suburban area outside New York City; it is separated from the Hudson River by the New Jersey Palisades.

Newark Bay is a bay of New York Harbor formed at the confluence of the Passaic and Hackensack rivers. On its south end, it is connected to Upper New York Bay by the Kill Van Kull, as well as to Raritan Bay by the Arthur Kill. It contains the Port Newark–Elizabeth Marine Terminal.
