- 1873 - Spain: The Cantonal rebellion begins in Cartagena, aiming to establish a federal republic from the bottom-up.
- 1918 - Luigi Molinari (b. December 15, 1866) dies. Italian anarchist militant, active with Errico Malatesta & Camillo Berneri.
- 1919 - Erich Mühsam is sentenced to 15 years in prison for his involvement in Bavarian Workers' Councils uprising.
- 1920 - The offices of the Unione Anarchica Italiana newspaper, Errico Malatesta's rooms & the premises of the Unione Anarchica Milanese, of which he is a member, are raided, under false pretext.
- 1926 - At the Union anarchiste Congress in Orléans (12-14th) the U.A. changes its name to Union anarchiste communiste (UAC).
