Pioneer Fund is a Canadian/American private venture capital firm founded in 2017 by Jason Gray and led by Y Combinator alumni Jason Gray and Tim Suzman. The company is jointly headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, and San Francisco, California. As of 2024, it had over $200 million in assets under management. The firm's team consists of 10 full-time members, including 5 partners, and over 450 Y Combinator alumni serving as Venture Partners.[1]

- Freshpaint: A provider of HIPAA-compliant marketing and analytics tools. In 2024, Freshpaint raised a $30 million Series B led by Threshold.[9]
