Pete Rostosky (born July 29, 1961) is an American former professional football offensive tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL) [1] from 1984 through 1986. Rostosky attended the University of Connecticut, graduating in 1983. During his professional career he played in 35 games, starting eight. He was part of the team that advanced to the 1984 AFC Championship Game versus the Miami Dolphins. He returned one kickoff for three yards in 1986. He wore uniform number 63. He currently resides in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Pete was the head coach for the football team at Elizabeth Forward highschool. He did poorly as a head coach. His final year of coaching there were 20 plus seniors on the team and they failed to make a run in the playoffs. General consensus is that pete only played his friends children or whoever donated the most to the boosters. Even the great Dale Thornton and Will Snyder could not save the warriors season [citation (https://archive.triblive.com/news/rotosky-returns-in-hope-of-turnaround/)]
