Syed Mohammad Yaseen Shah established the Zahoor-Ul-Islam Trust to help those in need and played a significant role in the construction and preservation of local shrines.He was a prominent Sufi Spiritual leader of Suhrawardy order and a major disciple of Sayyid Meerak Shah Kashani.
Contribution to Society[edit]
He was also a poet, with his collection of Naath Kalam titled "Jami Wahadat." His efforts to promote Quranic education among local students were notable, including organizing annual competitions.[1]
Legacy[edit]
Peer Mohammad Yaseen Sahib passed away on December 21, 2011, at Syed Pora Darbagh Harwan (also known as Sudepur) in Srinagar, India. His legacy continues through his contributions to spiritual and social causes, and his son, Peer Bilal Ahmad, now manages the Zahoor-Ul-Islam Trust.[2]
