Parkfields

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Parkfields or Parkfield[a] is a suburb of Wolverhampton, England. It is located south of the city centre and borders Blakenhall to the northwest, Ettingshall to the northeast, Bilston to the east, Coseley to the south, and Goldthorn Park to the west.

Parkfields features a primary school, a gurdwara, retirement homes, and a small selection of bars, pubs, restaurants, and shops. A large section of the suburb consists of interconnected parks, fields, and wooded areas, with a creek running through the latter. There is also a small industrial estate with branches of Ansaldo Energia,[1] Fortress Safety,[2] and the steel manufacturer Midland Bright Steels.[3]
