Orgain

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Orgain is an organic nutrition company founded in 2009. It manufactures organic plant-based protein powder and nutritional protein shakes.[1][2][3]

In February 2022, Nestlé Health Science announced that it had agreed to purchase a majority stake in Orgain.[1]

Private equity firm Patricof Co. invested in Orgain.[4]

In April 2024, Orgain won a $10 million jury verdict and a permanent injunction against rival company Iovate Health Sciences. Iovate was found liable of copying the signature green containers used by Orgain.[5]

In December 2024, the company recalled one of its products due to potential peanut residue contamination.[6]
