Olešnice (German: Elexnitz) is a municipality and village in České Budějovice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 900 inhabitants.

Olešnice lies approximately 23 kilometres (14 mi) south-east of České Budějovice and 140 km (87 mi) south of Prague.
