Nuremberg is an upcoming American historical drama film written and directed by James Vanderbilt. It is based on the 2013 non-fiction book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist by Jack El-Hai. It stars Rami Malek, Russell Crowe, and Michael Shannon.
Premise
[edit]The movie depicts psychiatrist Douglas Kelley as he interviews Nazi prisoners to determine whether they are fit to stand trial.

Production
[edit]It was announced in December 2023 that James Vanderbilt was set to write and direct the film, with Rami Malek, Russell Crowe and Michael Shannon set to star.[1] Additional casting including Richard E. Grant, Leo Woodall, John Slattery and Colin Hanks was announced in January and February 2024.[2][3]
Filming began in Budapest in February 2024, and had wrapped by May 2024.[4][5]
