Ethan Reyes (January 17, 2008 – July 9, 2022), known professionally as Notti Osama, was an American rapper from Harlem, New York.[3]

Life and career

Ethan Reyes, was born in Harlem, New York.[4] He was the second-youngest of five siblings and the younger brother of DD Osama.[5][6]

Notti Osama gained popularity with the single "Too Tact" by Sugarhill Ddot featuring DD Osama in 2022.[7][8] He released "Dead Opps" featuring DD Osama on July 12, 2022.[9] Posthumously, his single "Victory" was released in 2023.[10] Later that year, he was featured on his older brother DD Osama's track "Aftermath" alongside Blockwork.[11] "Too Tact" was re-released on November 19, 2023. On August 16, 2024, his single "On Hots" was released, featuring DD Osama and JJ 6ix.[12]

Death

On July 9, 2022, Ethan Reyes was involved in a physical altercation with a 15-year-old individual.[13] The altercation began on the street and continued into a nearby subway station, where Reyes allegedly pushed the individual onto the train tracks.[14] During the incident, Reyes suffered fatal stab wounds. Emergency medical services transported him to Mount Sinai St. Luke's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.[15]

Reyes' death was referenced in the song "Notti Bop" by Kyle Richh, TaTa, and Jenn Carter.[16]
