Normal is an upcoming crime thriller film directed by Ben Wheatley from a script written by Derek Kolstad. The film stars Bob Odenkirk, Henry Winkler, Lena Headey, Ryan Allen, Billy MacLellan, Brendan Fletcher, Peter Shinkoda, and Jess McLeod.
Premise
[edit]Ulysses comes to the sleepy town of Normal to serve as the temporary sheriff after the passing of the original sheriff. A bank robbery in Normal leads Ulysses to find that a criminal underground reaches throughout the entire town.

Production
[edit]The film package for Normal was taken to the 2024 European Film Market with a script by Derek Kolstad. Ben Wheatley and Bob Odenkirk were also attached to direct and star, respectively.[1] Among the companies that the film was sold to in pre-sales at the EFM included Sky Cinema for the United Kingdom, Amazon MGM Studios for Canada, Scandinavia, Australia and New Zealand, Metropolitan Filmexport for France and Leonine Studios in Germany.[2] In November 2024, Henry Winkler, Lena Headey, Ryan Allen, Billy MacLellan, Brendan Fletcher, Peter Shinkoda, and Jess McLeod. Principal photography began on October 21, 2024, in Winnipeg.[3]
