Noorani (Arabic: نوراني) is a Muslim surname, derived from the Persian nurani, meaning "luminous" or "bright", from the Arabic nur, meaning "light".[1] Alternative spellings include Noorany, Nourani and Nurani. The name may refer to:

The term Noorani Family can also refer to the family of the Imam of the Shia Imami Nizari Ismaili Muslims, headed by His Highness Prince Karim Al-Husayni, Aga Khan IV.
