Nimal Bandara is the current Sri Lankan Ambassador[1][2][3][4] to the State of Israel.

Diplomatic Career

Nimal Bandara joined the Sri Lanka Foreign Service in year 2000 and before being appointed as the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Israel, he has served in Sri Lanka Missions in China, The Netherlands, Pakistan, Iraq. He has also served as The Sri Lankan Director at SAARC Secretariat in Kathmandu, Nepal as well as The Sri Lankan Consul General in Sydney[5] and The Sri Lankan Consul General in Cyprus. Before the present appointment he was the Director General East Asia and SAARC Division at the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry.
