The next presidential elections in Syria are expected to take place before March 1, 2025, since Mohammed al-Bashir's transitional government will remain in effect until March 1, 2025.[1] This will be the first presidential election since the fall of the Ba'athist regime. However, earlier the opposition leader Hadi al-Bahra said the transition period should last about 18 months, which will occur in June 2026.
