Nazook (also spelled nazuk or nazouk, Armenian Նազուկ) is the name of a rolled Assyrian and Armenian pastry made from flour, butter, sugar, sour cream, yeast, vanilla extract and eggs, with a filling (khoriz) often made with nuts, and especially walnuts.[1] Nazook is sometimes referred to as gata.

There is also a variation where lemon juice and cranberries are used.[2]
