Nazia Ejaz Khan
Nazia Ejaz is a Pakistani Australian artist.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Nazia Ejaz was born in Lahore to Noor Jehan and Ejaz Durrani.[2][3] She received her early education from the National College of Arts.[4][5] In 1993, she moved to London to study at Slade School of Art.[6][7] Later, she received a scholarship to study at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), where she earned a graduate diploma in Indian art in 1996.[6][8]
Career
[edit]After the completion of her studies, she worked as a painter and teacher in the United Kingdom and Pakistan.[9] In 2003, Nazia exhibited her first artwork at Chawkandi Art Gallery in Karachi.[6] For two years, she taught at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture.[10]
In 2005, Nazia moved to Australia with her husband.[11][6] After living in Australia for 14 years, in 2014, she moved back to Pakistan and now lives in Karachi.[12]
Personal life
[edit]Nazia is married and has two children.[6]
Awards and recognition
[edit]She is a recipient of Staff Nomination Award, University of South Australia, 2015.[2][13]

She has worked as a printmaker, painter and teacher in the UK, Australia and Pakistan. Nazia has lived in Australia since 2005. She now lives in Karachi, Pakistan.
