Nathalie Turquey is a French police officer who has been in charge of the cold cases unit in Nanterre, Paris, France, since its creation in 2022.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Early years and career
[edit]After more than thirty years in Beauvais, Bobigny, and then Paris, she joined Nanterre following her breakthrough in the "Grêlé" case of François Vérove,[7][8] breaking the taboo of investigating an ordinary gendarme, thirty-five years after his crimes. In 2003, after the feminicide of actress Marie Trintignant by singer Bertrand Cantat, she also appeared in Lithuania and handled the investigation into British national Ian Bailey in the case of Sophie Toscan du Plantier's murder, killed in 1996 in Ireland, initiating a trial in absentia.[9]
