My Oxford Year is an upcoming romantic comedy film for Netflix based on the novel of the same name by Julia Whelan. It is directed by Iain Morris and starring Sofia Carson and Corey Mylchreest.

Premise

Anna, an ambitious American student, travels to Oxford to fulfill her dream but encounters a charming local who changes both their lives.

The film is directed by Iain Morris and based on the novel My Oxford Year by Julia Whelan. It was adapted by Allison Burnett with a revision by Savion Einstein. Laura Quicksilver and George Berman as producers for Temple Hill Entertainment with film set to be broadcast on streaming service Netflix.[1]

The cast is led by Sofia Carson and Corey Mylchreest.[2] It also includes Dougray Scott, Catherine McCormack, Harry Trevaldwyn, and Hugh Coles.[3]

Principal photography took place in September 2024 in England with filming locations including Oxford and Windsor.[4][5]
