Munir Danagundi

Munir Danagundi (born 30 April 1962) is a member of the House of representatives representing Kumbutso Constituency. He served as a chairman of Kumbutso Local Government Area in the early 2000s.[1] He first served as a member of the House of Reps in 2011 to 2015 and served till 2023 with two re-elections.[2]

Early Life

Munir bagged his First School Leaving Certificate in 1978. He had his secondary education at Government College Birnin Kudu (1979–1980) and Science Secondary School Birnin Kudu (1980–1983). He obtained the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and the Higher National Diploma (HND) in 1986 and 1990 respectively at Kaduna State Polytechnic.[1]

Career

Munir served as the chairman, House Committee on Agricultural Colleges and Instituitions upon his election in 2019 till 2023.[3][4][5]

He first represented Kumbutso Constituency in 2011 at the Federal House of Representatives. He got re-elected for a second term under the platform of the (APC) All Progressive Congress in 2015.[1]
