Mumbai South Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 48 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies of Maharashtra state in western India.[2]

[edit]Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray)'s Arvind Ganpat Sawant won the seat by defeating Shiv Sena's Yamini Jadhav by 52,673 votes. Sawant led against Jadhav in four Assembly Constituencies: Worli (6,715 votes), Sewri (16,903 votes), Mumbadevi (40,779 votes) and Byculla (46,066 votes). Whereas Jadhav led against Sawant in two Assembly Constituencies: Colaba (9,732 votes) and Malabar Hill (48,287 votes).[3]
