Al Hasan Milad also known as Mr Milad is a Bangladeshi tech entrepreneur, author and founder of International Technology of Bangladesh.[1][2][3][4][5]

Early Life and Education

Milad was born in Goashpur village of Sylhet district. His father's name is Md. Bodrul Islam and mother's name Shilpi Begum.[6] He completed his secondary from Ranaping Adarsh ​​High School and College and higher secondary from Syed Nabib Ali College. He is currently studying law at Metropolitan University, Sylhet.[7][8]

Career

In 2018, Milad first wrote columns in national newspapers including Jamuna Television,Channel 24 and Dhaka Tribune. he is cyber security analyser, On April 09 2022 founded the first international technology service company called International Technology of Bangladesh (ITB) and served as its chief executive officer.[9][10][11][12][13] On 01 February 2024 Bangladeshi founded an international online news portal Daily Topnatch which is a news portal published in Bengali and English languages.[14]

Awards

Milad was nominated for Bangladesh National ICT Award 2023 and Ernst & Young.[1] Received the Global Youth Parliament Award in 2024.[15][16]

After the resignation of Bangladesh's former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, a central leader of BNP called Milad as an Awami League man and demanded a donation of Tk 10 lakh taka's.[17]

Controversy

Milad tweeted a post about the Bangladesh vs India cricket match in 2023, which was retweeted by Pakistani actress Sehar Shinwari and denigrated the Indian cricket team. Indian fans created controversy by calling Milad and Sehar Shinwari's love affair.[18]
