In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Goriman Khan is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Mohd Asghar Khan. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.

Mohd Asghar Khan bin Goriman Khan (born 26 December 1965 in Selangor) is a Malaysian military officer who currently serves as the 20th Chief of Royal Malaysian Air Force since March 2022.[1] Prior to his appointment, he previously served as Deputy Chief of Royal Malaysian Air Force from January 2020 to March 2022.[2]
