Fix incorrect Bengali year

[edit]

The current Bengali year is 1431 but the template is showing 1432. It will be 1432 on 14 April 2025. So, instead of 1432, the template should show the year as 1431-1432. I believe following will fix the issue: change this

	bengali:setYear( year - 593 )

into this:

	bengali:setYearRange( year - 594, year - 593 )

Roman calendar

[edit]

There are multiple systems and some of them are reign-based, so it's a bit complicated to calculate them. I was thinking a "see also" link to Roman calendar#Years would suffice. But given this is a script and not wikitext, I would have to learn Lua to figure out how to add that. I was also going to add {{VTE}} so editors can figure out what's making the "in various calendars" box, in case there are problems to fix or enhancements to be made. -- Beland (talk) 06:19, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I see Ab urbe condita is actually already in the module, but it's not labelled as "Roman" so I couldn't find it on the page. It is also apparently not the calendar system most commonly in use in Ancient Rome. -- Beland (talk) 06:44, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 14 February 2025

[edit]

I would like to request the inclusion of the the Tranquility Calendar (which is in need of an page of its own). 50.39.228.27 (talk) 06:24, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The reason for such an inclusion is that the template could benefit from it in the long run. 50.39.228.27 (talk) 06:26, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Not done for now: The article would need to exist first. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tranquility Calendar for a prior attempt. – Jonesey95 (talk) 00:50, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
