Controversy
[edit]India lodged a protest following the visit of the British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Jane Marriott, to Mirpur.[2] The protest was rejected by Azad Kashmir (AJK) President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, who termed India's objections "highly ridiculous" and without moral or legal justification.[3]
