Minabad (Persian: مين اباد)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Minabad Rural District of Anbaran District, Namin County, Ardabil province, Iran.[4]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,311 in 306 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,177 people in 338 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,139 people in 320 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
