Metacyclops is a genus of copepod crustaceans in the family Cyclopidae, containing 61 species,[1] of which three are listed on the IUCN Red ListM. campestris from Brazil (conservation dependent),[2] M. gasparoi from Italy (vulnerable)[3] and M. postojnae from Slovenia (vulnerable).[4]
