Meena High Court
Meena High Court[1][2] is a social and cultural place near Dausa district of Rajasthan in northwestern India. The most powerful leader here, Kirodi Lal Meena, has an important contribution in making it. The people of the society together have spent Rs 100 crore[3] so far. This is the only High Court created in the name of a caste; no such example can be found in the entire country.[citation needed]
History
[edit]In 1993, a man was murdered here.[2] The accused were stripped naked and paraded around the village on a donkey by the village panchayat. When Dausa police got the information, the police arrested 8 Panchs of the Panchayat. The people of the village went to the then MP Rajesh Pilot but he did not listen.Tired and frustrated, people went to Kirori Lal Meena, who had lost the election in 1991. Kirodi Lal Meena listened to the people and called upon them to gather, then 40-50 thousand people came.Kirori Lal Meena blocked the Jaipur Dausa highway; when Bhairon Singh Shekhawat came to know about it, he came to Dausa. And the Dausa police left the Panchayat members in the village with respect. Since then, Kirodi Lal Meena has been the most powerful leader in this area.
Political importance
[edit]This place is considered most suitable for targeting the people of this area. That is why Prime Minister Modi came here in 2018 and Rahul Gandhi[4] participated here in 2023.
Social and culture importance
[edit]The largest number of people in this area are from the Meena community. Therefore, all the social problems related to them are solved here. All the programmes related to Meena community, be it Tribal Day[5] or Matsya Jayanti, are celebrated here.
