The warning message currently says (under "typical proxy links and how to repair"):

You can link to https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?AN=<access number> (the ebsco 'permanent link' to the record), the access number is sometimes visible in other ebsco links (the number after 'AN='), or available from the ebsco page that you are visiting.

but this suggested fix/workaround does not work; the filter (as of 2022-04-30) rejects the altered URL and again displays the same warning message. Either someone should find a URL form that actually allows Wikipedia Library ebsco-based URLs to be altered into an acceptable form, or the filter should be fixed to stop rejecting this form, or this text should be removed from this message.  Not done (as to the edit request) - if I understand you correctly you are saying the filter is raising a false positive. Please report this to WP:EF/FP so that it can be fixed. Thank you, — xaosflux Talk 09:15, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please change the value of the "action" parameter from "warn" to "disallow" because any edit containing a proxy link is disallowed by this filter. Eyesnore 20:37, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
