Matthew "Matt" McGillivray (born 26 March 1997) is a South African professional surfer, competing on the World championship tour surfing (WCT).[1]

He was born and schooled in Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, matriculating at Grey High School in 2015.[2][3]

He qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games.[4]

He has been described as a "Madman"[5] in this WSL video.
