Marion Cotillard is a French actress. She is known for her roles on stage and screen. She has received numerous awards and nominations and as of 2024, Cotillard's films have grossed more than $3.7 billion at the worldwide box-office and have sold more than 75 million admissions in France.[1][2][3]

She made her film debut in the French romantic comedy The Story of a Boy Who Wanted to Be Kissed (1994). She had her breakthrough role in Taxi (1998), earning a César Award for Best Promising Actress. She made her first English-language debut in the film A Good Year (2005).

She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of French singer Édith Piaf in La Vie en Rose (2007). She was Oscar-nominated for her role in Two Days, One Night (2014). She has also starred in international films such as Pretty Things (2001), Rust and Bone (2012), The Immigrant (2013), and Annette (2021), as well as in major English-language films such as Big Fish (2003), Public Enemies (2009), Nine (2009), Inception (2010), Contagion (2011), Midnight in Paris (2011), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Macbeth (2015), Allied (2016), and Lee (2023).
